Im curious, being ive never owned a flex fuel motor or even have heard anything about it before I bought my truck. What grade gas is recquired to not have any detonation or pinging?

It will say in your owners manual. If you don't have one, 87 octane is normal for a 3.0.
ya i figured for the flex fuel it would be fine on 87. I don't have the manual
