camber and alignment

:dunno: My truck was in the shop for a bunch of work, and while there I had them throw in my leveling coils, so now I went from negative camber to positive camber. It is less positive than it was negative for a year+... would it be dangerous to drive with positive camber? I've asked 15+ people including my garage for a recommendation and they all named the same alignment place, but they can't take me until Monday. I NEED my truck this weekend. I am not worried about the tire wear, it would even them out a bit if anything, but I do not want to be a hazard on the road to myself or other drivers. The toe is good and the truck tracks straight driving and braking.
 
As long as you're not taking a really long trip you should be fine. The positive camber may affect the steering and manueverability of the vehicle a bit, but as long as you are aware of that fact I'd say your OK. After I put the 6" coils in my truck I had EXTREME positive camber and I drove it back and forth to 3 alignment shops with no problems. Good Luck! That alignment should run you about $200, or maybe a little cheaper. Drive Safe!

Its a longer drive than i would prefer, but the camber isn't waaayy out, and the truck had just come off the lift and taken for a spin around the block so it will probably settle a tad more.

That is negative camber which is what the truck was (bottom of tires stick out more than top). I am now opposite (positive camber, top sticks out farther than bottom). I just drove it around a bunch, feels steady and does brake perfectly straight. It does not self-center as easily but does not wander anymore than usual. Bit more tire noise at highway speed. I think I'm good to drive it for the weekend, Monday morning I'll drop it off for alignment.
 
You should be fine i just finished my leveling coil 5 min ago funny huh. i have a bit of + but it drives fine for now.

That wear looks more from bad toe than camber (toed-out). The camber wasn't helping it though either.

But agreed, driving it for the weekend shouldn't hurt anything.
