i have 2.3l in a 1988 ford ranger 4x4 5 speed that is driving me crazy. my problem is that i will start th engine but it has no power. the head gasket has been replaced. it has about 200,000 miles on it. i can replace it but if i can fix it i would rather fix it. i had to put it in 4low to get it in my moms garage.(its not a very steep driveway. i pushed my 2wd S-10 in the garage, if that tells you how nonsteep it is). it starts every time i hit key. any advice would be very helpful. thanks for looking.
