Hello, I am new to the forums because I recently bought a slightly used Ranger.
Anyway, according to the manual in the glove, my gas tank should be 17 gallons. But every time I fill up when i am pulling into the gas station driving on fumes, the pump stops at 13~14 gallons. I get about 250 miles on that amount of gas, but I want to know why it is stopping so early. Are all Rangers of this model like this and I am not reading the manual correctly, or is there something wrong with my tank?
Someone told me that the missing 3+ gallons are in reserve or whatever, but that seems a bit high for a reserve.
