I recently purchased a World Class(I believe) T5 transmission from an early
90's 5.0 Mustang off ebay(sweetest place for cheap parts). Anyway, I want to put a tail housing off of an S-10 T5 on to the one I just explained. Should the tail housing simply bolt on to the WC tranny? or do I need to some "fudging around" to make it work.

You guys have been very helpful towards my conversion process. This is new ground for me, but I will suceed:icon_welder:

This site can help you identify which T-5 you have. The World Class T-5s came in everything, not just 5.0 Mustangs. Even 4 cylinder Mustangs had WC T-5s, but they're different than the 5.0 units (gear ratios and pilot bearing).

It's a lot more involved than what you think! A whole lot of the rear internals have to be changed out also. I had mine done five years ago with a new T-5 and the cost to have it done was $400, now from what I have heard, it's about $900. Better have gone with one of the Tremec's with the mid-shift options.

The only thing I know is that its a World Class tranny from a 5.0 mustang, now Will a tail housing from an s-10 bolt up to the tranny housing from a mustang? Plus, a TREMEC tranny is not cheap and I am not made of money.
