i need some help please asap ty ty

i have a 90 ranger with a 2.9 im trying to put my tranny in. its a 2wd auto and the torq converter wont line up with the flywheel. i think my flywheel is from a 2.8 is the 2.8 fly different than the 2.9 flywheel tyty john also am i supposed to use the spacer in the 2.9 application a4ld -2.9

They are almost the same dia. They both have 138 teeth...but they show different part numbers, and look somewhat different. How many holes are there in the flexplate? 8 sets of 3 evenly spaced out or just 4 evenly spaced out and then a set of 4 really close together?

ok i figured it out

i have a 2.3 flywheel so i just ordered the right 1 from auto zone ty for the reply :beer:
