I have a 93 ranger 3.0 5 speed. I am going to be running 31" ats for now and gona upgrade to 32x11.50s when they wear. What type of gas mileage should i expect out of it with 4.56 gears. I was thinking about 4.10s but i want some pep, but wanna get at least like 16-18 mpg. I drive about 50/50.

Depending on how you drive, 23-25 HWY, (17-19 city) should be possible with the 4.56. Mileage will not be better with 4.10 (it may even be less).

That's right. The 3.0 is a rever. Gets the best mileage at it's peak tourqe around 3,200 rpm. 4.56's will be much better suited with 31" or 32" tires.
