Hey peeps. I used to have a ranger and posted frequently on here. But, I've got a 92 ranger at work thats not getting injector pulse, and no spark from the intake side (exhaust side seems to be fine)....I've ran into this problem before but cant remember what the $&#* it was! Did a pin-out test on the PCM, all is good....the wire from the crank sensor to icm was showing 9v key on (should be ground by 'alldata' {aka "no data"}) and after moving wires around, it fixed itself, but now, I've got power on all the coil wires @ the harness conector....weird, huh? Any ideas? I'm sure there's a short somewhere...:icon_twisted:....but was wondering if anyone has had this problem b4 and have any pointers? I only got one hour diag time on it, but have spent over 6 hrs on it, and really dont want to send the customer to ford, as you all know will rape him...:icon_surprised:...any help would be greatly appreciated!

oh, here's what's been done: (by the customer)
plugs, wires, icm, Timing belt

by me:
ECM pin-out test, blah blah blah...crank sensor? )but RPMs are showing accurate...approx 300rpm on crank...:icon_confused:
