theres one for sale for 11000 by me. thinking of goin to look at it and maybe trade in the dodge for it. its a 2003 with the 6.? power stroke and has 108000 miles on it and possibly a 2" lift with some FC kevlar 315/?/? tires that have about 50% tread, but are worn choppy. got a quick look at it as it was gettin dark, and it looks like it is in really good shape, but it is as is no warantee. it is from the same dealer me and my dad got our trucks from.

what do you guys think of these? any one have one?
 
expedition or EXCURSION? I have never seen a diesel expedition...
 
its gotta be the excursion.. even though i think a 6.0 diesel would maybe bolt up to that tranny????
 
a 6.0leaker at over 100,000 miles? woah, I'm impressed. :shok:

so i take it it's a "no go"?
 
I like em, but hey, i've never owned one, but I have driven one.
 
my gramps has a white 4x4 diesel excursion with 500k+++ on it... he drives it to florida 7+ times a year from maine.

edit: NO PROBLEMS wHaT SO EVER
 
I know everyone doesn't like the 6.0 but I've seen them run to 200k with good maintenance. I had a few friends who got them, and they had good luck with em.
 
My brother's wife has an excursion.

MY brother wouldn't buy the Diesel and he's a Ford Senior-Master Diesel Tech.

Her "Griswald Family Truckster" has the V10.

I'd stay away from any 03 or 04 6.0L diesel. Many, many problems. And once the problems start, they don't end. The engine was much improved in 05 - 07.
 
I know someone with an 02 excursion and has had zero problems with it but its a 7.3 so that would be why.
