hhhhhhhmmmmm - I have seen some variations that resemble a pearl, but it mostly relies on the lighting of the vehicle to look realistic. I have never tried it before, but have an idea how I would attempt it though. It would require the use of adjustment layers and layer blend modes along with tweaking layer opacity, brightness and contrast.
