my mom has an 04 f150 and for some reason when she turns or even accels it shimmys like something is slipping.....any ideas? things to check
 
They are drive by wire, it could have something to do with that.

There are a lot of things it could be, a scan at a dealership would help you narrow it down.

ok well it started happening after she had the tranny changed before the warranty ran out and what do you mean drive by wire?
 
Theres no thorttle cable, its all done with sensors.
