ok, when i go to start the truck, and push the clutch in, it doesn't always start the first time. it takes a couple of tries then is starts up as normal. Is there a solenoid on the clutch that might be going out? I dont think its the key ignition, but i could be wrong. :dunno: thanks!

clutch fixed for now....

OK, so i finally stuffed myself underneath the dash and looked around to see what part was actin up. It was my safety start/interlock switch that was not making full contact to close the circuit. So, i went and bought a new one. (51 bucks) (48 military discount) . R2 it but the truck still would'nt start. I messed with for a little bit, then figured out that i needed some type of spacer to "assist" in completing the circuit. Finally found some at Ace Hardware. Put it back together and not only did it work but now my clutch pedal is as close as possible to me . But, whatever i got it to work and I only have to barely tap the clutch in to get her to start! Oh, and all i could find my overpriced Haynes manual was to replace if inop! Duh! :yahoo::headbang::beer:
