I don't own this truck yet but I am thinking about buying it. Its a 1994 explorer 4x4 5speed manual with the 4.0. The owner says he had the tranny rebuilt and then he drove it for 4 months and it dropped 2 gears. He also said it was hard going into gear and the tranny shop said it just needed to be broken in....
So my question is does this sound like any easy and cheap fix? cause i dont have a lot of money.
Is there anything else I can look for to see if the tranny is still good?
