Quite simply, is there any fog light kits that offer an install of a H4 bulb? I have a HID kit that has H4 bulbs and would like to put it to good use.

Not that I've ever heard of.

I OTOH have a truck with H4 headlamp assemblies...

But the HID retrofit kits I've seen lack one important feature of OEM
HID setups... HID's don't have seperate "filsmants" inside to
change the beam pattern from HI to LO, so what the OEM's do
is use a mechanical shutter to accomplish the same effect.

The HID kit I have does have the hi/lo mechanical shutter. I found one make from PIAA that offers a H4 hi/lo light kit. Thou a little smaller would be nice too.

HID Hi/Lo Kits are commonly referred to as Bi-Xenon. I have a set of housings that take the H3, but not H4.

Thats the problem. Almost all aftermarket fog lamps take a H3 bulb. I'm looking for the fog light housing that can take H4 bulbs.

That is a problem, since most fog lights are just "one mode" so to speak. The H4 is a hi/lo beam bulb with dual elements. Most fog lights if not all are single elements, the best fog lights use H7/H10/H11.

Even if you found somthing close, it will have to be rebased and even then, the focal point will be off, it will most likely look like SHIT.
