I need to remove the interior carpet from my 1994 Ranger. Is the carpet fastened to the cab in any way and if so, what is the best way to remove it without damaging it as well as putting it back in correctly? Thanks in advance.

On my truck ('93, auto, ext. cab) I had to take out the panel that is next to your feet which has one little clip thing on each that you have to pull out (just slides out). Then take out the door trim peice (if that is what is it called) which has 4 screws in it. Take out both of the seats. Take out the mouldings that go underneath the rear jump seats. Take out the little console up front. And then there are either 3 or 4 screws in the carpet on the back edge that you have to take out. Dig/ feel around on the back edge of the cab on the floor and you will find them.

For the center console ( just a cup holder and a slot), if I remember right, you just have to turn these little clip things in the bottom of each cup holder and lift up/ back on the tray and it comes out. Then you have to also undo the plate that holds the console to the floor. The console is held to a plate which is held to the floor...

Here is a quick picture for ya.
