I would like to swap my 2.3 4 cly. 5 spd. for a 4.0 5 spd. in my 94 Ranger Ext Cab. I searched the Tech Area and could not find anything, here are my questions:
1. Do I have to change the wiring harness inside the cab (under dash) or do I only need to change out the engine compartment harness and plug it into the main harness at the fire wall and change the computer?
2. What year and type 4.0 vehicle would you recommend for a donor?
3. Will my 5 spd transmission bolt up to the 4.0 ? If not which manual
transmissions will work?
