The LED Question

Looking to try the LED's in the old dash board. Anybody know whats the best to get brand wise? also do the single bulbs work ok or is it better to get the ones with the multiple bulbs that shine all around? Ebay has a million types and it just gives me a headach:dunno:

i bought mine at superbrightleds.com there cheap and quick ship you want the leds to shine straight not in all directions they will be brighter for the dash i bouth WLED-LEDx4s they shine nicely and i would reccomend those

I ordered mine yesterday from superbrightleds, I'll submit a review once I get a chance to install them. They have to be an upgrade from the crappy "blue" bulbs I got from Auto Zone.

did the crappy blue ones from autozone say led on the box or where they tinted blue? cause if they dont say led they arent and they suck

They were just tinted bulbs. I should have known better, but I didn't want to have to wait for a shipment to arrive, I had time to change them that night and wanted a little instant gratification.

yeah unless they say LEDs there not going to shine bright
i used those tinted ones for my dome light and they work pretty nice alot brighter than stock and they give a nice whitish blue look
you can buy leds for the instrument cluster at autozone just make sure they say LED but its alot cheaper on superbrightleds.com
