Sliding rear glass fit non-sliding glass opening?

I have an '04 ranger regular cab with the non-sliding rear glass window. I got a free sliding rear window glass from a totaled '03 ext. cab.

My question is will the sliding rear glass fit my regular cab?

Do I need to use the gasket from the sliding glass window?

Also, if it does fit, what is the best way to remove the existing glass?

to remove the existing glass you'd probably want to use a window stick... but to install it, I hear rope and doing a little magic trick works... you'd probably be better off having a pro install it, so if it breaks they will replace it for free.

on another note, I thought the '03 was different from the '04... I don't know I'm a first gen fan myself.
