Hello all, looks like a nice board here!
So, I picked up a new DD today and I've got a couple questions about it.
First, the wipers don't work right all the time. I suspect that the switch needs cleaned, I saw that mentioned somewhere on here. Sometimes they work fine, occasionally they come on and make a partial sweep and stop or will only work on high and stop wherever they are when I turn the switch off. Does this sound like the 'phantom wiper' problem?
Next - The door dinger. Should it ALWAYS ding when the drivers door is open, regardless of key in or not etc? Also, the dome light will not go off...so there are no bulbs in it. With the truck running, opening one door at a time sounds a light chime which sounds to me like the door switches are working properly. Any other common issues there?
Last - Are there any factory service manual links available? The truck didn't come with a manual at all, which is very irritating. Why must people remove the manual from the vehicle? WTH are you gonna do with it?!
My wife's car didn't come with one either.. Grr.
