Power Window Wiring

Hi guys,

I want to wire a power kit on my truck and I need to wire the power to an ACC wire or to a wire that the unit will turn off when the truck if off. Do you know which wire should I hook this too? Should I use a relay for this? Where did you guys wire yours? I have a 2007 V6 Ranger. Pictures would be good too.

Thanks

There's usually an acc tap on the fuse box.

Connecting to the fuse box can be tricky. Run a wire, include a 20 amp fuse from your battery. The wire from the battery and power window wire include a relay so the power is only used while your truck is started. To power the relay I ran it from the ignition start which connects to the radio.
