Would I be correct in assuming these would fit my '99? I'm waiting on some more pictures to see any defects or flaws, but I was thinking that $250 is too much, even for new. What do you all think?

They also don't look that shiny, but they are just polished aluminum (it looks like). If I bought these, would it be hard to get them nice and shiny?

Would you pay $250 for them though? I was thinking I would offer $200 since they aren't new and they look like they need a little polishing.

I always try to deal them down a little when buying used stuff. If they are straight I would think they would be well worth $200, $250 isn't bad either.

Keep in mind those wheels are pretty wide for a Ranger, and your front wheel bearings are not cheap.

But I see a lot of members on here running 15x10 rims. Are they bad on the bearings?

Is there anything else I need to know about buying rims? Is there any way to tell if they're straight or bent? I know that one of my stock rims right now is slightly bent, but when it's off the truck you can't tell at all. The only way I know is that one of the mechanics told me when I bought new tires and that it makes a noise when I'm driving the truck.

Not many of them have a 98+ trucks though, your unit wheelbearing/hubs are $150+ a side.

I got a set of steelies for my dad's Dodge off of creiglist. Went and had them mounted and one shook the balance machine with authority. Dismounted the tire and it would rock on the concrete floor a good 1/4" laid flat on its side.

I agree, I would try the guy at 200 bucks and see how he reacts.

Not trying to jack the thread but you're right, 99 4x4 is $345 per hub. I should think a 15x10 should be ok. I have the stock 16x7's on my truck right now.

And Toast, I would definately try and talk him down. You can buy Cragar Soft 8's brand new for around $50+the chrome center caps.

So you would think that a 15x10 size would be alright? I love the look of 15x10 rims because I think having the tires stick out a bit is tight. But if there's a chance that they can damage my wheelbearings should I even bother? Would going down to a 15x8 be better?
