just joined TRS in the end of February, I have found a ton of information on here. I just moved to Kankakee, IL so if any one from around this area knows of some good places to wheel please let me know, as long as its not to rough. I've only got a stock ranger but I'm not afraid of pushin it to the limit, worse case scenario it breaks and I replace it with stronger stuff. Here she is:
I have owned a 4x4 most of my life, which isn't really that long since I'm only 23 but I bought my first jeep when I was 15... a 1979 cj5 with 33's, a total rust bucket but it only cost $1000. Next up was the a 94 splash Ranger just like in the pic but only it had an 8" skyjacker lift and 33x15.5 swampers. I had that truck for only 4 months before it got rolled over... not by me... I let my brother borrow it so he and some buddies could go wheelin, $7900 worth of damage later, the insurance company took it. Now I've got the ranger in the pic... had it a year and now I'm ready to start modifying it... so I'll keep everyone posted. I love the site and the members here seem awesome and willing to help out even newbies. Thanks for the great site
