un hooked abs now no speedo?

i un hooked my front abs lines going to the hubs on a 99 ranger,for offroad purposes well now i dont have a speedo? any ideas how to fix my speedo?

plug your abs sensors back in..if you need to extend the harness. on the 98 and newer rangers the speedo doesn't have a cable it gets it signal from the abs if the abs doesn't work then neither does the speedo.

I unpluged mine at the behind the front bumper I have something wierd going on my ABS light is on but my spedo still works?? if thats what you did may check that fuse

yeah all i did was un hook them from behind the front bumper and no more speedo. the 99 rangers do have a sensor on the tranny and i have not touched that. i dont like the abs for offroading at all but for highway and ice its ok. just dont want to loose my speedo and mileage

have u tried the under hood fuse in the fuse box? on my truck its fuse #17

i havent tried that fuse yet but will give it a shot. i did take out number 3 which was the main big fuse and that didnt work.

looked under the hood in the main fuse box and i dont have a #17 fuse. only goes up to 15 and the rest are relays

hey on my 2000 ford ranger I pulled the fuse inside the truck and the speedo stopped working...and when I unplugged the sensor...it shut off the speedo...SOO THEN I pulled the fuse under the hood...the ABS quit and the speedo is STILL working...there is one there under the hood...I can't rememeber the number you have to find a diagram...but it is one of them

k_redball92 any chance you can take a peek under your hood and see which one you pulled? i tried the big 50 fuse for abs but that didnt fix it yet.
