My new toy

Well my ranger is gone. A kid here in town came by the house last sunday and wondered if I would be willing to sell the ranger. He had a 1980 Ford F-250 with a 460 and a 4 speed. I told him I would trade him straight up my truck for his truck. This what I got out of the deal

I swear you guys in the South and MidWest pickup trucks like nothing.. In California there is no way that would happen... Finding an older Ranger here or a fix up rig is almost impossible.. You guys seem to come up on that stuff like crazy I swear.. I've heard of people getting rangers for $100.. wow.. Doubt that will ever happen here.. :bawling:

I was just thinking the same thing. Its the same up here in Oregon too.... I think its because they don't salt the roads here, it would kill the salmon runs. which is ok by me that means I have more of a chance at catching one.

Probably gonna swap the Dana 50 TTB out for a Dana 60 little more lift and bigger tires,lockers and who knows what else. Only had it a week haven't had time to decide on much yet.

dude looks like it could be a lot of fun. i just bought a 83 with the 6.9 4speed. have fun. these things are great.
