ok here's the DL

i bought my truck last summer, for a cheap vehicle, and since then, i've obviously done some things to it. roughly two months ago, it started leaking a little oil. VC gaskets. worked for a little. then started to PISS oil. degreased, adn couldnt find the leak. then it hit me. when someone put the body lift on my truck, the person sliced the dipstick/dipstick tube to make it more concealed in the engine compartment.... dumb dumb idea. split right down the middle, and cracked below exhaust manifold. I cant get the darn thing out!!! even if i do, i cant replace it since i went to the dealership and the part was discontinued three years ago. all at junkyards are ruined; cannot remove without destroying one. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND A NEW DIPSTICK AND TUBE??!??!? I'm located in Western New York, outside of Buffalo, btw....

I'd go to the JUNKYARD.

It's not like these tubes are that hard to find.

It's a tube. You can tell in an instant if it's worth using.

Just keep the tube and dipstick together or you'll get an inaccurate reading.

It's only a tube, just find a piece of tube and make a new one. Make sure its the right length though.
