I am lost. I am considering purchasing new batteries for my camper (22' Class A) and don't really know what to get. Currently I have one 850 amp truck battery, and a 650 amp car battery.
Basically I just want something that will not take a crap if it gets drained a few times. I understand that a deep cycle would be ideal here. I only take this thing out like 2-3 times a year and it's always at campground that have electricity, so capacity isn't really an issue.
So should I just get one deep cycle for the lights and stuff, and keep the truck battery for starting the engine? Or two deep cycles? Do deep cycles have the cajones to start the thing? The 650 car battery I have just barely does and it gets drained really fast.
Or should I just run the batteries I have?
