I found a very solid 92 explorer but its a 2wd, and i am wondering if the rear axles are the same as the 4wd models..
the code on the door for the axle is D4. I have no idea here so help me please. Price on the explorer is good , and all I want to do is swap in all the rebuilt parts from my 94 4wd..... My 4x4 has the 3.73 ratio in it but if this one is 4.10s I will find myself some 4.10 front gears when swapping parts .
for any help, or location to find out what axle ratio code it is.
