theft light

Hi guys
I just had something wierd happen. Started the truck and noticed the theft light kept flashing, it flashed all the way home. Once i got home i turned off the truck,waited a min. then started it again and it didn't seem to flash anymore. Why would it be flashing while i'm driving it? It's never done that before
 
i dont have a theft light but they do flash when the key isnt in the ignition is it an new key or a stock key?
 
It's blinking while driving, and its a stock key. whatever it was it hasn't done it anymore.
 
its probably not a big deal either so i wouldnt worry about it
 
Same thing happened to me before, I have a 99 only happened once never again. I thought that the computer didn;t recognize the chip in the key correctly or something.
 
yeah thats why i was wondering if it was a stock key or not
