if shackle flip is the same drop and doing a axle flip, mine actually sat a little higher in back then front. gave it a real nice stance though. not sure if shackle flip lowers more or less than axle flip though iv never done shackle.

A shackle flip gives about a 2 - 3" drop all depending on age of springs and what duty the truck saw during its life before drop.
An axle flip will give 4 - 5" again taking note what I said above . . .

Yep. Only prob. with axle flip is that it uses up so much travel:icon_bounceblue:

well i know my axle flip took me about 30 minutes all together and i didnt even have to unhook brake lines. i have never done a shackle flip so idk how long it takes but mine dropped 3" with axle flip. 3 in front and 3 in rear with brand new shackles and leaf springs.

axle flip is when u put the axle from the bottom of the leaf springs and flip it to the top of the leaf spring. shackle flip is when u turn the shackle from pointing down to up? never done a shackle flip so idk but axle flips are ez drop.

axle flip is putting the dif above or on top of the spring pack. Shackle flip... Idk I snapped my front shackles off and bouht a belltech shackle kit so I never saw the difference between stock and lowered shackles.... Or what he said above LOL I'm on my iPhone so time lags a bit

yeah a axle flip will cause you'll have very little travel on the rear. A shackle flip won't as much though.
