popping sound coming from tranny

ok started doing this about a week ago when i start slowing down i can feel and hear a popping coming from te tranny. does it when ive got the clutch in thats it wont do it when driving only with my foot on the clutch slowing down please help.

have you checked your u joints? can you feel it or just hear it? if you feel it is it in the steering wheel,your seat or the shifter?

i can feel it in the shifter and my u joints ar brand new all te way around it

when was the last time you checked the oil in the transmission? i would drain it and inspect the magnetic plug for large chunks. if there are none replace the fluid .
