door latch, in door

so I was messing with the latch thing on the door because im tryin to figure out my light issue. I was moving the thing that latches, it rotated clockwise,(on passenger door) and now i cant rotate it back, and it wont let the door shut at all. anyone know what im talking about? Looks like im going to be taking the door apart

nevermind. I fixed it. just had to hold handle while i rotated the latch back. sorry to post this thread

Yep. They pretty much all work the same- pulling the door handle up releases it, then opening the door would rotate it around. Since it wasn't closed on the door, you have to manually rotate it back. Good deal U figured it out.
