i just put a set of belltech 6400


Thats a kick in the a**. I got a pair and I have yet to put them on. Did you do any measuring?
 
If they are longer than stock (which they are, I have them) they will give you lift. The only way they wouldn't lift the truck is if you moved the hanger forward and had a really crappy shackle angle. It may not be much, 1.5" IIRC so you may not notice it much, but they'll help when flexing as they let the axle droop/tuck more then a stock shackle would allow.

i just put a set in my truck and was able to remove a lift block. kinda took a lil bit of finess to get them in but otha wise it was worth it.
 
I even got a full 2" lift when I put mine in.....

Did you measure before or are you just guessing?
 
Any advice to get the most lift from them (Angle wise)
