Are all 3.0 starters the same??? if not, what years would fit my 99 ranger, the motor is out of a 2000 though.

good question, i can tell you this, when autozoo didnt have my starter for my 93, they crossreferenced and gave me a starter for a 3.8 mustang. the only dif was the bolts were a dif thread (sae vs metric) i retapped the holes and it went on fine, still on the trk to this day.
