I was wondering if anyone knew of manual hubs for the new live axles. I have a 98 ranger with the pulse vacuum. I have gone through 2 sets of the stock hubs and 1 set of the AVM/Rugged Ridge manual hubs and they are junk. I didnt know if anyone knew anything about using the warn hubs. I have heard if you get the axle nut kits they will work but according to the website they say it will only work up to 97. Is there a manual hub for the newer rangers and if there was, could i replace the steering knuckels with the newer style?

No manual hubs avaliable for 00+ trucks. As for manual hubs for a 98/99 your only choice is the AVM's

Time to SAS!

On a side note, some 2000's had vacuum hubs, that was the crossover year.

I have the AVM hubs on my truck and havn't had any problems so far, they have been on my truck for about a year

Many people install Explorer hubs and axles and it's just live all the time then. Most 2000 and all 2001+ Rangers have live hubs as the PVH proved to be too troublesome and unreliable.
