I have a 2008 Ranger 2.3 with base configuration. I also have a write-off FX4 that has all the bells and whistles. I am thinking of pulling the power locks/windows from the FX4 and putting it in my stock, manual truck. I imagine I might even just swap the whole guts from the doors, but I'm wondering what else there is outside the doors... are the electronics beyond the door pretty simple to pull and reinstall?

Also, Battery needs to big larger, alternator needed to keep the juice up and there may be wiring in that area too to handle the increased current load.
Check with a Auto Electrician before tackling this; who knows the stock harness may have all that is needed built in.
