ok this may sounds dumb, however i want to see if any of you guys know about the volvo head swap on the 2.3? the guy doing all my tuning had mentioned it and it sounds awesome. i guess it is supposed to be a twin over head cam head that is capable of much much higher rpm's. i'm already close to the four hundred horse stage but i'm shooting for around six huindred by next spring any suggestions or tips where i can fing out more about this would help a ton!!! :icon_welder:

There is a video on YouTube...several, actually...it appears to boost base HP to something like 175-200 with just the head...and there is a turbo version that kicks out 250+ HP...just do a google search...actually...I did it for you...

Whooooa! Hold up so ya'll are saying with just the head i can get about 200hp outta my 2.3? What head is it and it bolts up to the 2.3 block? Let me know very interested eigther here or PM me. :headbang:

The Volvo DOH cam head...if you do a search on google there is all kinds of info out there...I heard about that a few years back...

so will this idea work on my 95 2.3 ranger? i have a sohc. i saw this thread and wow i gots to get me one of these. i want add ons that will increase my ponys. im getn a turbo either this spring or summer so.
