I have a truck that has the 3inch wide rubber strip all the way around it held on by double sided tap top and bottom. I pulled one piece off today but 94pct of the tape or glue what ever you want to call it stayed behind. It took me about 45 mins to remove a 6inch wide portion of it completely. I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and if there is a easier way...... Ive tryed everything I could think of heating it up...didnt work....nail polish remover ahhhh worked better then heating it up but still took me 45 mins with that all it did was smear glue.... A tad of brake cleaner on a rag and elbow grease didnt budge. At this rate it will take me a week to get it all off....
