Just Wanting To See What 2wd Suspension People Perfer For Pre-runners?

lots of money A arm.....cleaner travel,less camber change etc. But with A arm's its sort of a go big or go home on the cost.

I beam. not as much money, simple compared to A-arm's. massive camber change compared to A-arm's. Nothing you can do about it.Nature of the beast.The I-beam's one down fall. Ton of aftermarket used parts.

Yeah, I would say A-arms, but you are right about the price. I was going to go with camburgs 5.5, but I wanna go big so i'm saving up for the full L/T race kit $6,000 it will be worth it.

A-arms handle lots better when lots of travel is needed, the i-beams run into bad camber changes unless they are super wide and you have to change the beam to change the ride hight with correct camber. I would do A-arms if i was doin a full out TT

but for a prerunner and my race truck you cant beat the price, reliability, and functionality in a i-beam truck!

With the proper steering an I-beam truck can handle just as good as an A-arm truck. Good steering geometry can minimize the camber change. Even though it will always still be there you can not feel actually happening when the truck is set up properly. Also there is plenty of adjustment to change the ride height. all you have to due is change out the alignment cams. If the beams are King pin then you are stuck with whatever ride hieght they are built for. Im a neutral on the topic because both A-arms and I-beams work great! :D

just remember when your 100 miles from anywhere and something breaks, whats easier to fix, if you look at the high dollar tt's there a-arm but they also have a machine shop on wheels chasing them incase something goes wrong. I dont have alot of experience with a-arms and not a whole lot more with I-beams, if set up right they both work well but my money is on I-beams litteraly

by the way, an edit on my last post. TT's dont use A-arm setups, they use a J-arm. my bad
