What spkr fits '94 door of ext cab Ranger

Not wanting to go bigger or anything, I just have a bad one there. I need to know what size direct replacement to buy so that I can have it on hand and ready to install when I pull the door panel off. I have the original Ford AM/FM Cassette sound system. Crutchfield seems to show that a 5x7, 6x8, or 5 1/4 round all fit the original mount. Is that right?

5x7 or 6x8 will bolt right in. 5 1/4 will fit but you have to buy or make an adaptor plate.
 
usually 5x7s and 6x8s are the same. poeple on here have had good results with the pioneer 6x8s as a direct replacement

One question I failed to ask, what impedence (ohms)? 2? 4? 8?
 
almost all door speakers are 4 ohm, theres a few component sets that are 2 ohm (re xxx comps). but stick with 4 ohm if your using a head unit to power them instead of an external amp

well not all are oval i got 6" round sony xplodes in my doors fit perfect:headbang:
