I have a 91 4x4 ford ranger with the Dana 35 in front and rear and I have 32 inch mud terrains on it. It has stock gears and I want to know what to change them too?

32's aren't a lot bigger than stock. I'd go with 4.56, especially if you have a manual tranny. If you want a little less RPM on the highway and have an automatic you could run 4.10's.

i agree with johnny. if you have a manual and drive alot ont he freeway. then leave it stock or go with 4.10 because its not much of a size difference. but if you drive mostly on city streets and do alot of hill climbing while wheeling...go with 4.56, cuz that way you can upgrade to 33's in the future if you want

I would go 4.56 for sure (4.0L)

I had 4.10's in Sonja with 33's. There were more times than not that I wished I had more gear. These guys speak truth... if you're going to wheel at all, go 4.56. You wont be sorry.
In 4-lo fully footed climbing a shale pile I was betting I was going to blow a headgasket or worse as she struggled. She didnt spin, but she was working her ass off. when I redo this one, it'll be 4.56 without a doubt. I dont drive my 4x4 RBVs over 55 anyways.
