Somewhere i read of someone putting an 88 escort cam in their stock ranger head? anyone have a clue about this? higher lift maybe?
 
ok never mind didnt think what the acronym was for. OVER HEAD CONSOLE. Not Over Head Cam. my bad

but on a lighter note. is there any 2.3 that has a higher lift cam that will swap into my ranger?
 
there is a company that makes cams for the 2.3, there have higher lift duration which also gives it a "lumpy" or a "lopey" idle. doesnt do a whole lot for performance unless you do some intake and head work. hope this helps. "blackwidow"
 
i have my head ported and polished. my intake too. My actually question was if they had a cam out of another Ford 2.3l vehicle that has a higher duration. i didnt make it very clear sorry
