It's because it's white.

About time TRS got a PS challenge. Might be hard to keep going though, since a moderator isn't head of it. (can't sticky the threads)

Yeah maybe a little bit.

I'll keep it going until I leave for basic. Can't we just have one of them sticky it for us?

I think after the last chop and this one I have coloring a white car down. It was a pita at first but I think it looks pretty sweet now.

If participation picks up, maybe Jim will make a place just for us, I asked before and he said there was not enough interest. We will see though, looks like more people are getting involved - only time will tell.

I have not been able to start yet - I have a real job - ROFL j/k . . .

Yeah it takes some work, but its do-able. I just added color to the silver R8 over on RPS.

Yeah I gotta get another job. Quit mine because i was suppose to be going to basic and now I'm a damn witness to a vehicular man slaughter and have to wait until the trial is over. joy. I think I'm gonna sit the R8 out. I hated doing the celica, and now I really don't wanna do that one. I may put a ford and trs logo on it and enter it.

I don't know, that white limited is mighty sweet looking already. I can't wait to see what some of you guys can come up with.

Yeah you're allowed to, anyone is. I'm not the greatest either but I enjoy it and I try so who cares. This is a great way to better your skills for sure though, especially when you get CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

Also, for those of you who don't have photoshop, there is a free program SORT OF like it, called open canvas. I'll post a link in the Photoshop thread by Hazmat.

93STX will probably start a submissions thread the day before or the day of the deadline and then you will post entries there. After the deadline, a poll will be made for voting.

93STX - not trying to take this away from you :icon_thumby: - I have the time now, may not later today. I think we should post the entries here and when the deadline hits take the pics and start a new vote thread. Also keeps amount of threads down. I will start off and post mine here - all other entrants do the same - 93 - at midnight your time zone, begin the vote thread or 1st thing tomorrow. Good Luck to all . . .

Everyone give up - I thought there were some completed? If 93STX agrees - all entries posted here by midnight according to your time zone TODAY.
Once all entries are in I or 93 will start a vote thread - so get them in.

heres mine kinda basic but im still learning

I like it - really not that bad for still learning. Some notable items:
Grille is too dark - try selecting the base image around that area, copy to a new layer, desaturate and then adjust your brightness/contrast levels for it, will give you a look closer to black chrome.
Paint color change is a bit over-saturated - when changing colors I like to make a copy of the painted areas ONLY to a new layer. Then I will work on that layer or use it with layer blending modes for different looks or styles.
Your selections look really clean - keep that up, makes a big difference in the final result.

Overall - good job - post some more works as you do them and if you have any Q's - there is a thread - ASK for God's sake - :icon_rofl:

You see the entries that made it in . . . only two. So pick your fav . . . LOL. I think 93STX ran off to basic training - LOL.

This one was basically a bust - there will be other contests or battles once more members begin to participate more in this section.
