EGR Questions

got a 85 2.3 with fuelinjection the egr tube is stripped and i cant find one here is my choices ...1 take the crap off i mean do you want to breath exhast gases if you where a motor....2 how well would copper tubing hold up if i were to make my own tube ????

not exactly sure how yours is setup on an 85, but if it's similar to other years, you might have better luck and less headaches by picking a replacement up at a junkyard.

dont get me wrong here but i f---ing hate going to pull-a-part evry damn idiot in the world is out there tearing up more stuff on the cars than i have ever seen in my life and i am 50 but i guess if all else fails its off to the junk yard (oh excuss me the used parts recycle center) to see what i can find. i did see the one post with the neat looking header from the factory but no O2 sensor bung.
