Hi guys. This is my return to the site, after a 6 month absence. I had owned a ranger, then sold it in August, and am now in the process of picking up a Troy Lee edition 2500 as a get-around truck. I found the truck at the local junkyard down the road from the shop I work at, and am good friends with the owner of the yard. He said the woman who had it got into an accident on the highway, and rather than trying to repair it, would like to just sell it. We've spoken to her a few times, and what she is "thinking" about asking for it, is a whole lot less than what I was thinking about offering her for it.
The damage on the truck it actually minor. The passenger side fender, hood, grille, headlight frame, and bumper are all toast. The radiator support is fine however. It runs, and if I pulled the bumper away from the tire, it will drive. Regardless of parts availability, I will still buy the truck, but I was wondering if there are any good sites to look at for the fender and grill set up. If worse come to worse, there are a couple other junkyards in the area I can deal with, thanks to good professional relationships. Any input would be great.
