2.3l to 3.0l v6 swap

HI i own a 94 ranger with a 2.3l 4 bannger and 5speed manual tranny ,i would like to swap in a 3.0l vulcan to have a little more power , it is very hilly here in Sault Ste Marie ont canada . can i still use the 5speed tranny and what about the rad ,if anyone has any good advise on the swap i would be happy to here from you thanks.

hello from louisiana (other side of the map...) the 3.0 vulcan has its own tranny bolt pattern, so you have to have both the tranny and engine, along w/ driveshaft since the the tranny is either longer or shorter cant remember. if your doing a stick swap just keep what you got pedal etc wise, if auto you need a column etc. w/ the engine youll need the computer and wiring harness that match. basically your best bed is to find you a donor vehicle and rob it all and put it in your trk. hope this helps and happy hunting!
