ok i have a 1988 2.3. I am swaping header manifolds out with a tubed one out of a 90s ranger. i got my old one of and put the new one on only to find out the egr tube is not the same conection! so i need to go back to the junk yard and get the other egr tube. BUT do i have to have this hooked up? can i just cap of the egr and the tube fiting on the header or do i have to have it for it to run? i plan on geting real headers soon. will bloking of the egr efect the EFI.... pleas help me im new to efi cars. i am a license inspecter so geting it to pase with out it ant shit lol dont tell...
