so im trying to decide which of these speakers to buy to replace the stockers in my doors. there are these http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-A6872R-Inch-3-Way-Speaker/dp/B0012K3J78/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1235097789&sr=1-2 3 ways or these http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-A6882R-4-Way-280-Watt-Speakers/dp/B0012062FE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1235099155&sr=1-4 4 ways. I know that their pioneer so their good speakers and the reviews are all good but my question is will i notice a difference in the 3 ways vs. the 4 ways or should i save the 15 bucks?

yea i gotta agree with rj component sets are the way to go but are expensive

if you have basic wood working skills you can make an mdf mold for 6" woofers in the doors as apposed to 6x9 to save yourself like 100$ and get some decent mb quartz component speakers for about 80 bucks

i got my 6.5" adapters off ebay for like 6 bucks. its abs plastic but its still strong and thin enough to not cause door panel clearance issues

I have 4-way Pioneers and i couldnt be happier. The sound is very clear. I got them for $31 brand new off of eBay.

i have the 4 way and am pretty happy with them.

I just put in the pioneer 3 ways yesterday and so far I love them.

The ebay link i posted was for some mb quart components, $57.95 shipped brand new.
