hey guys i have a 1990 ranger with a4ld i just noticed that when i come to a light or stop sign my engine revs up just before i stop anybody have any thoughts to what might be going on thanks oh its a 2.9 motor too
 
downshifting maybe? the trk is staying in higher gears longer and doesnt go down into first unless your under 15mph i think. mine acted stupid like that too for a bit then when i let off the gas it freewheeled and when i resumed cruising it would be in 3rd, then 4th. im going to an m50d in mine if i can find one for my 3.0 4wd.
