I just finished rebuilding my front susp, all u-joints and ball joints. When refilling the front axle with lube. it barely took a qt. and I did not add the friction modifier. My ? is - do i need to? I can't find anything in the owner's manual stating that it is limited slip. I thought the front's all were. Chilton wasn't much help either....

I've never heard of ANY RBV coming factory with a ls in the front. They are all open.

Some '80s D28s had L/S as an option, although it was not common. Look for a 3-digit axle code on your door sticker (I believe) ending in "2" (something like F62, etc.).
