'00 explorer bumper

Does anyone know if the 2000 Explorer front bumper will fit around a 1997 Ranger? Do the brackets bolt up or will I need to make my own. My biggest concern is will it wrap around correctly? I found one for sale with the fog lights and all, and I think it would look good. Thanks.

I'm 95% sure it won't bolt up. The fram rails from the cab mount by your feet forward, if I'm not mistake is different once they switched to IFS. And that would include the bumper brackets.

But there is still that 5%, haha.

OK, so their not a direct bolt on. But looking at pics of the front of the 97 Ranger and 00 Explorer, they look like they would form together well. The top of both bumpers have the same "dip" in the center and the sides look like they both end at the same location. Im not concerned about brackets, I can make my own. But I was curious about the measurments. Maybe I'll scan the bone yard and take some measurements.
